• Ernst, Ernst and Lissenden designed additions to a series of toll plazas including roadway approaches and temporary toll booths which will eventually increase the capacity of the permanent facility. A requirement for the project was to develop a plan allowing for construction without closing existing toll operations.

NEW JERSEY HIGHWAY AUTHORITY, GARDEN STATE PARKWAY REHABILITATION:

• This project involved restoration of cross-slope and realignment of the crown line over a 16 mile length of multi-lane highway. Services included design, feasibility studies and construction supervision. The alternative recommended by the firm significantly reduced final paving costs.
